With the Summer months (apparently) approaching, we are switching our Cricket focus to the outdoor season.
You can get your children involved in Cricket with us in a number of ways.
1. School
We will be running after school Cricket clubs at The Vaynor First School, Webheath Academy Primary School and Aston Fields Middle School.
2. Club
We will be running training for children aged 8 and under at Astwood Bank Cricket Club on Friday evenings from (hopefully) Friday 20th April onwards. Those sessions are from 6:30pm-8:00pm. You can benefit from joining your child to the club for the year for just £60 or you can pay to train for £5 per week. There are scheduled to be 20 weeks of training (weather permitting).
We will also be running outdoor Cricket training for 4-10 year olds based at Aston Fields Middle School. These sessions are on Wednesday evenings from 6:10pm - 7:40pm and will start on Wedneday 18th April costing £5 per session. These sessions will be outdoor where possible and we have indoor facilities available to us if the field is unsuitable due to weather.
3. One to One
We also have limited availability for One to One coaching sessions. If your child would like to improve their skills with dedicated and specialist Cricket coaching, book a session with us.
4. Summer Cricket Camp
We will be running summer holiday Cricket days during the summer holidays. We are currently finalising the dates and will publish them to you asap once they are confirmed. The days are a great chance for children to experience Cricket in a variety of ways, whether it be through specific coaching of batting, bowling and fielding or via fun games and activities. It is suitable for children aged between 5-13 and all levels of ability/experience.
